Happy Pontiac G8 Owner - Don Morrison
"I bought my Pontiac G8 at Liberty instead of the competition because of Scott and Sales Manager, Greg Mongelli, who are sincere about earning your business. They listened to what I want in a dealership and as a car enthusiast. Some Pontiac dealers are only putting a few in stock or only order G8's on special order, but I believe Liberty is one of the largest dealers for the G8. Hits on internet, Yahoo and 3 internet forums just for the G8 bear this out. As you advised me, you have the best technicians around and I BELIEVE IT! THREE OF YOUR TECHS HAVE HEADS UP KNOWLEDGE OF THE G8 AND ARE CAR ENTHUSIASTS! I am impressed, they talk my language and I know they will meet my needs. The technicians I spoke with, Tim and Robert, as well as Robert Ortloff, service writer are knowledgeable and easy to talk to and work with. I am a fussy and demanding customer. I look forward to coming in for service because of all these men I have named. This has been an enjoyable experience and I will go out of my way to send business to Liberty Pontiac GMC. Any more questions or clarification please call me, and I will be glad to talk to you. Sincerely, DON MORRISON"

All Around Liberty: Meet Brad McCorkle
(Brad and Tatevik McCorkle) Meet Brad McCorkle, Sales Manager at Liberty Pontiac GMC Truck. Brad is a graduate of UNCC and worked as a supervisor at UPS before joining the Liberty Crew. Since then, Brad has been a fixture at Liberty for almost 14 years, working first in Sales and then in Finance before becoming Sales Manager 7 years ago. Day in and day out, Brad makes sure things are running smoothly up front. Brad says the best thing about Liberty is "...the family atmosphere we have created here at Liberty. It is exciting to work with a great group of people and grow to better ourselves personally, as well as professionally. We work together to do the very best we can for our own families and for our customers." When Brad isn't busy making a deal or coaching a sales associate, he enjoys spending time with his wife of two years, Tatevik, and his parents who live close-by. Autumn Vehicle Readiness Check With the start of Autumn, we know to check our fire alarm batteries, have our furnace serviced, and refresh the weather-stripping around doors and windows. It's also the time to take a few simple precautions to maintain safe driving over the next few months. The following is a list of common measures you can take to keep motoring into the New Year! Battery - Cold weather can reduce a battery's power by up to 50%. Check to make sure the posts and connections are free of corrosion, and if your battery is older than 3 years, have it tested. Nobody wants a no-start morning when the temperatures begn to dip! Oil - Dirty oil makes it harder for the engine to turn over, especially in colder weather. Check the owner's manual for maintenance schedule and recommended oil grades. Tires - Check tire pressure and tread depth before wet, icy weather comes suddenly. Under or over-inflated tires, or excessive tread wear do not provide sufficient traction and are dangerous when driving on slick streets. Belts and Hoses - Modern materials have made belts and hoses very durable, but they can deteriorate over time and fail without warning. Have belts checked for glazing on the top surface or cracks in the V-ribs. Ask your service advisor about the recommended 4 year replacement cycle on belts and hoses. Coolant - Coolant should be inspected annually for contamination and proper mixture for freeze protection, boilover protection, and anti-corrosion properties. Wiper Blades & Washer Fluid - Inspect blades and wiper motor operation on front and rear, if applicable. Nothing can be worse than shoddy wiper performance during rain or sleet. Your service advisors Rob Cosentino, Rob Ortloff, and George Fisher, have the training and experience to keep your vehicle in tip-top shape. Feel free to stop by or call them any time with questions. |
